Ron Lieber, personal finance columnist for The New York Times, gave the keynote speech at a ceremony in which top Latino journalists received awards for their coverage of personal finance issues. The winners were all participants in an online course on coverage of those issues administered the International Center for Journalists and sponsored by the McGraw-Hill Companies. The ceremony was held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC in October 2009.
